  • Shuffle now accepts real-money (fiat) payments, no crypto required.
  • Fiat means government-issued currency like USD, CAD, or EUR.
  • Don't confuse the $CASH token with fiat; $CASH is still a digital asset.
Shuffle now supports real-money fiat payments, allowing players to deposit, play and withdraw in local currency without using cryptocurrency.

Play at Shuffle with Real Cash

If you’ve been put off Shuffle because you don’t want to buy, hold or transfer cryptocurrency, there’s now another option.

You can play at Shuffle without crypto, using regular money instead.

Shuffle has introduced real-money payments that let you deposit in your local currency and keep that balance in the same currency while you play. There’s no need to buy Bitcoin first, send crypto from an external wallet or deal with a crypto conversion just to get started.

If you’re now looking to create an account, don’t forget to enter the Shuffle referral code “MAXBET” during registration to get the current welcome package.

What Does Shuffle Mean by “Fiat”?

When Shuffle says “Fiat”, it’s not talking about something you might find in a car park – not until it’s time to pay for parking, anyway.

When it comes to payments, fiat simply means regular, government-issued currency, like Canadian dollars, US dollars, euros, and so on. It's the money you already use every day, whether that's sitting in your bank account or being spent through your usual payment methods.

At Shuffle, the distinction is important because a fiat deposit doesn't need to become crypto along the way. You can deposit in your supported local currency, keep your balance in that currency while you play, and withdraw in the same currency, like the “traditional” way.

How Do Real-Money (Fiat) Payments Work at Shuffle?

Using cold hard cash at Shuffle is pretty much the same as making any other online payment. Choose how much you want to deposit, select a supported payment method, and complete the payment in your local currency.

Once the payment goes through, your funds are added to your Shuffle wallet as fiat rather than crypto. If you deposit Canadian dollars, for example, your balance stays in Canadian dollars and there’s no need to buy Bitcoin or transfer crypto from an external wallet.

You can then use that balance to play across Shuffle, with your stakes, winnings and balance displayed in the currency you deposited. There’s no crypto price to keep an eye on and no conversion between your local currency and a digital asset.

When you want to withdraw, you can then just cash out in the same currency as well.

Don't Confuse $CASH With Fiat

Shuffle also recently announced that it accepts $CASH for payments, but there’s an important distinction to make here: despite the name, $CASH is not fiat currency.

$CASH is a tethered token: a digital asset designed to maintain a stable value relative to a traditional currency. It can be used within Shuffle’s crypto ecosystem, but it isn't the same as depositing Canadian dollars, US dollars or another government-issued currency directly.

So if you're specifically looking to play without using crypto, the new fiat payment option is the one to pay attention to. $CASH may be designed to behave more like traditional money in terms of value, but technically it remains a token, and that's different from using real fiat currency.
